Diseases

Non-communicable diseases are diseases that cannot be spread from person to person, or animal to person (Skolnik, 2019). The terms chronic disease, or degenerative disease are often associated with non-communicable diseases, whereas communicable diseases are those that can be spread amongst individuals or from animal to person, such as HIV, Tuberculosis or lower respiratory infections (Skolnik, 2019).
